PSV's Sami Ouaissa to Undergo Fresh Medical Due to Health Issue
Sami Ouaissa, who plays for Dutch club PSV, will undergo a fresh medical examination due to an unspecified health issue.
PSV attacking player Sami Ouaissa will be subjected to a new medical check by the club due to a health issue whose exact nature is not known. Although Ouaissa was transferred from NEC last summer for 9 million euros, he has not yet made an official appearance for the Eindhoven side.
According to information reported by Rik Elfrink from Eindhovens Dagblad, Sami Ouaissa's health status remains uncertain and the attacking player is not yet in a physical condition to wear the PSV jersey. Ouaissa played one half last Monday in Jong PSV's 1-0 defeat against FC Dordrecht.
The young footballer was expected to travel to England with Jong PSV on Tuesday afternoon for the Premier League International Cup match against Ipswich Town, but he was not included in the squad. The Ipswich fixture was evaluated as the final stepping stone before his return to the first team. The nature of the player's health issue has not yet been disclosed.
Meanwhile, Sam Lammers, another injured name in the PSV squad, continues to remain away from the pitches. Although the forward player is expected to recover within a few weeks, it was reported that he is not yet ready to play.
