Sanliurfa Zero Waste Workshop convened with local needs in the city

At the workshop organized in Sanliurfa by the Zero Waste Foundation with the theme "Waste, Waste and Resource Management from Local to National", the city's priorities in the fields of environment, climate and sustainability were addressed.

Under the auspices of the Sanliurfa Governorate; The Sanliurfa Zero Waste Workshop was held, hosted by Harran University, in cooperation with the Sanliurfa Metropolitan Municipality, Harran University, the Sanliurfa Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, the Sanliurfa Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Sanliurfa Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

Sanliurfa Deputy Governor Hüseyin Kaptan, Sanliurfa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Vedat Akıllı, Harran University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet İlyas and Sanliurfa Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change İsa Gülgür attended the workshop. In the event where approximately 250 people took part, views were shared at 15 thematic tables, and the solution proposals obtained are planned to form the basis of the Provincial Zero Waste Target Document.
