At the 4th Culture Meetings organized by the DAĞDER Nilüfer Branch, the preservation of the cultural heritage of Bursa's Mountain Region and its transfer to future generations were discussed. During the program, Shalvar Night events and certain stage practices, which were stated to have no place in the local tradition, were criticized.

The 4th Culture Meetings hosted by the DAĞDER Nilüfer Branch were moderated by Educator-Author Mustafa Doğru. Educator-Author Özer Güleç and folk poet Menteşeli Cengiz attended the event as speakers. During the program, it was emphasized that the local culture must be preserved in its authentic form.

Özer Güleç stated that there are deep-rooted traditions in the region such as henna and copper nights, but there is no tradition named 'Shalvar Night', warning against cultural degeneration. Menteşeli Cengiz, on the other hand, criticized women performing men's dances and local dances being detached from their originals, drawing attention to the importance of protecting cultural identity.
