In its third-quarter results, music platform Spotify announced that it reached 788 million monthly active users and approximately 5 billion euros in revenue, while designating integration with artificial intelligence agents as its new era strategy.

Spotify Co-CEO Gustav Söderström stated that while artificial intelligence agents take over routine tasks that people do not want to do, the situation is different in the entertainment field, and the platform will benefit from this transformation. In addition to being the first music service integrated with Meta's Muse assistant, the company also works compatibly with ChatGPT and Claude platforms.

While some tech giants like Amazon restrict access for external agents due to security and commercial reasons, Spotify is actively participating in this ecosystem. Söderström emphasized that listener data is not sent to external partners, and requests from artificial intelligence agents are answered using Spotify's own algorithms and listening history accumulated since 2008.
