Statement on Çapa and Esenyurt from Health Minister Memişoğlu
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu stated that Turkey provides the world's best healthcare services, noting that diagnoses and treatments are carried out with the latest technologies in hospitals.
Speaking at the Istanbul University Hospital Çapa and Esenyurt Campus Mass Groundbreaking and Mass Opening Ceremony, Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu stated that Turkey is one of the countries offering the best healthcare services in the world. Speaking at the ceremony held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Memişoğlu expressed that significant steps have been taken in the field of healthcare over the past 25 years.
Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu stated that Turkey is today one of the countries offering the world's best healthcare services, noting that all kinds of advanced diagnosis and treatment services can be provided in hospitals with the latest technologies. Speaking at the Istanbul University Hospital Çapa and Esenyurt Campus Mass Groundbreaking and Mass Opening Ceremony held at the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine Campus, Memişoğlu expressed that traces of the understanding of serving history, culture, and people are found in every corner of Istanbul.
Touching upon the investments realized in the healthcare field over the past 25 years under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Memişoğlu conveyed that 28 city hospitals have been put into the service of the nation. Furthermore, he announced that approximately 14,000 bed capacity across 26 hospitals and 5 oral and dental health centers have been brought to Istanbul in the last 10 years.
It was recalled that the new 300-bed state hospital constructed by the Ministry of Health in Esenyurt to continue the services of the old monoblock building at the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine campus, which was evacuated within the scope of earthquake measures, has been allocated to Istanbul University.
