Statement on Fenerbahçe from Jindrich Trpisovsky: The Strongest Team We Have Faced

Making statements at a press conference held at the Chobani Stadium, manager Jindrich Trpisovsky emphasized that Fenerbahçe might be the strongest team they have faced before and expressed that playing against Romelu Lukaku is exciting.

Answering questions from journalists at the Chobani Stadium where the match will be played, Jindrich Trpisovsky drew attention to the difficulties of European matches and stated that it is hard to earn points in the Champions League. Noting that Fenerbahçe is at a superior level compared to them in terms of budget, Trpisovsky stated that on-field performance and preparation are more important than budgets in football. Stating that they are playing against big teams and must not make mistakes, Trpisovsky said they have to focus on everything for tomorrow's match.

Speaking about Fenerbahçe's Belgian footballer Romelu Lukaku, Trpisovsky stated that the goalscorer is an extraordinarily strong player with extra attributes. Noting that he knows Lukaku closely and that not even a centimeter of space should be left for him, the experienced manager added that it is his first time coming to Istanbul and he is looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere in Kadıköy.
