Statement on fund investigation from Nihat Zeybekci: Allegation of negligence and abuse in 6 public institutions

AK Party Deputy Chairman and former Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci made notable remarks regarding the fund investigations carried out in capital markets during a meeting he attended in the Tavas district of Denizli.

Having previously stated that companies of which he was a partner suffered a loss of approximately 250 million liras in Tera Portföy's TP2-coded money market fund, Zeybekci this time targeted public institutions. Zeybekci claimed that approximately 6 public institutions were negligent in the fund issue and that there was abuse within the managements of certain institutions.

Without disclosing the names of the institutions he stated were negligent, Zeybekci emphasized that legal proceedings must be initiated against those responsible.
