Technology Cooperation Step Between Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security and WEF
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam decided to strengthen cooperation with the World Economic Forum in the fields of science, technology, and digital transformation within the scope of the 2026 Autumn Economic Forum.
Meeting at the 2026 Autumn Economic Forum held in Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam Dang Hong Duc and World Economic Forum (WEF) Managing Director Stephan Mergenthaler discussed strategic cooperation issues focused on technology and innovation.
During the meeting, the acceleration of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation processes in line with Vietnam's national development goals was addressed. Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized the importance of WEF providing support to Vietnam through its global expertise network and policy dialogue mechanisms.
WEF Managing Director Stephan Mergenthaler stated that his institution is ready to support cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in the field of technology and innovation. Mergenthaler expressed that necessary instructions will be given to relevant units to achieve these goals.
