The Technology Development Foundation of Turkey Day and Awards Program took place at a hotel in the capital city of Ankara. During this organization, artificial intelligence, climate technologies, and deep technology studies were discussed in detail.
Artificial Intelligence and Great Change
Speaking at the opening of the event, TTGV Chairman of the Board Değerhan Usluel stated that artificial intelligence is used in various fields and that a change much greater than the internet is being experienced.
Usluel emphasized that the boundaries of artificial intelligence cannot be fully predicted and that it harbors great uncertainty, stating that they have focused on this field.
Deep Tech and the First Customer
Conveying that the biggest problem when bringing deep tech to life at a real scale is finding the first customer, Usluel noted that they have signed contracts for projects such as green cement and clean hydrogen.
Presentations and Leader Chats
Altan Çakır, Founder of Parton Big Data Company, gave a presentation on the business world changing with artificial intelligence within the scope of the program.
Additionally, a leader chat was held with the participation of İnci Abay Cansabuncu and Serdar Gökpınar.
Award-Winning Researcher
Following the opening speeches and panels, the Dr. Akın Çakmakcı Pioneer Researcher Award was presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Başaran Bundur from Özyeğin University during the ceremony.
Civil Initiative and Company Awards
While the Mehmet Şuhubi Pioneer Civil Initiative Award was deemed worthy for the Sustainable Future Platform, the Dr. Fikret Yücel Pioneer Company Award went to HEKTAŞ.
Change Leader Award
At the held award ceremony, the winner of the Refik Üreyen Change Leader Award was determined as İlker Taygan and the award was presented to him.
