The İsmail Kartal era ends at Fenerbahçe: New head coach candidates identified

Following the 2-1 defeat against Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe has officially parted ways with head coach İsmail Kartal. The club management has identified two candidates as part of their search for a new head coach.

Following the departure of İsmail Kartal, the Fenerbahçe management is focusing on the names of Emre Belözoğlu and Vincenzo Montella for the head coach position. Emre Belözoğlu, who previously served as an interim coach at Fenerbahçe and is currently managing Kasımpaşa, and Vincenzo Montella, who most recently served as the head coach of the Turkish National Football Team, stand out as the two main candidates on the club's agenda.

While the uncertainty regarding the head coach position continues at the club, Dirk Kuyt is expected to serve as the technical supervisor for the team's upcoming match against Göztepe. The management plans to make its final decision regarding the new head coach in the near future.
