To Lam Attends the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City

The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a grand ceremony on the morning of October 28 to celebrate its 50th anniversary and receive the First-Class Labor Medal. General Secretary and President To Lam attended the event and delivered a speech.

Attending the 50th-anniversary celebration (October 27, 1976 - October 27, 2026) held in Ho Chi Minh City alongside General Secretary and President To Lam were former Politburo member and former National Assembly Chairperson Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Party and State officials, ministry representatives, diplomatic agencies, and university members.

Delivering the opening speech at the ceremony, Party Committee Secretary and UEH President Associate Professor Dr. Bui Quang Hung shared the university's 50-year history and future goals. Congratulating the school on its achievements and extending congratulations for the First-Class Labor Order, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that the institution should focus on innovation, raise educational quality, train high-quality human resources, and strengthen research activities.
