TOGÜ students held City and Culture course at historical sites

Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGÜ) students held their classes at historical sites this week by visiting the Gazi Osman Paşa Museum House and Gökmedrese within the scope of the City and Culture course.

As part of the visit, students had the opportunity to closely learn about the life and struggle of Gazi Osman Paşa, one of the important figures of Turkish history, through examinations at the museum house. Continuing the program at Gökmedrese, students discovered the architectural features and the place in the tradition of science of one of Anatolia's deep-rooted historical structures.

The university administration aims for students to recognize the cultural riches of the city they live in, strengthen their historical consciousness, and reinforce their academic knowledge with on-site learning experiences through such field activities.
