TÜBİTAK-supported Science Flourishes in the Village project brings together rural students
The project, implemented with TÜBİTAK 4009 support, brought students in rural neighborhood schools together with scientific activities and experiments for three days.
Supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK 4009, the "Science Flourishes in the Village: Discover, Learn, Apply" project brought students in rural neighborhood schools together with science between September 21-23, 2026. Coordinated by Bafra Science and Art Center and directed by Science teacher Mehtap Yılmaz, the activities were completed with the participation of students and parents.
Throughout the three-day activities, participants discovered science through experiments, hands-on work, and talks. Students learned about laboratory equipment, conducted experiments, designed models, and experienced virtual reality. Within the scope of the project, talks titled "The Digital Language of Soil" and "Wisdom of the Past, Science of the Future" were also organized, bringing technology and local knowledge together.
