Following the parting of ways with Vincenzo Montella, the Turkish Football Federation made an offer to Arda Turan for the head coach position of the Turkish National Football Team, and bilateral talks have begun.

Search for a Head Coach

As part of the search for a new head coach for the Turkish National Football Team, the TFF Board of Directors granted full authority to İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu.

During the meeting held, Arda Turan was the only Turkish coach's name put on the table, and the management decided to make an offer.

Istanbul Meetings

Arda Turan, who managed Shakhtar on the field on Friday, arrived in Istanbul by private jet on Saturday.

Meeting with his family in Istanbul, the young coach made a comprehensive evaluation regarding the Turkish National Football Team offer.

Dual Role Proposal

During the initial contact, Arda Turan stated that he did not want to leave his club halfway and that his club would not approve his departure.

Upon this development, the TFF management presented a new proposal for him to manage both the club and the national team simultaneously.

Future Planning

It was shared that the thirty-nine-year-old coach would evaluate this proposal and hold talks with the Ukrainian club.

It was stated that if an agreement could not be reached with Arda Turan, the federation would evaluate foreign coach alternatives.
