University Delegation Visits Van for Science and Technology Projects

A delegation from Van Yüzüncü Yıl University visited Tuşba District Governor and Acting Deputy Governor Musa Göktaş in his office within the scope of science and technology projects.

The delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Vahap Yönten, Head of the Environmental Engineering Department at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, visited Tuşba District Governor and Acting Deputy Governor Musa Göktaş. The visit was attended by Serhat Aydın, TÜBİTAK Coordinator of the Van Provincial Directorate of National Education; Şüheda Özhan, Coordinator of the TÜBİTAK YYÜ National Technology Workshop; Şaban Baran, TÜBİTAK Presidential Representative; and Mehmet Özşahin, Director of Legal Affairs at the Van Governorship YİKOB.

During the meeting, the 1st Van Science Camps held on October 9-12 and October 16-19, along with ongoing activities, were discussed. The delegation expressed their gratitude to District Governor Göktaş for his support. District Governor Göktaş emphasized that science and technology-focused studies contribute to the development of young people and wished the delegation success.
