Speaking at the media day held at the VakıfBank Sports Palace, Zehra Güneş shared her satisfaction with starting the 2026-2027 season with a trophy alongside her team.
The national middle blocker expressed that they are focused on the competition in the Vodafone Sultans League in line with last year's motivation and this season's goals.
National Team Successes
Stating that the summer period went incredibly for her, the successful athlete reminded that they won gold medals with the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League and the CEV Trendyol European Championship.
World Championship Excitement
Zehra Güneş noted that they feel great excitement for the FIVB Club World Championship, which will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from December 8-13.
Explaining that they have 5 different trophies ahead of them, the experienced volleyball player added that they are progressing step by step as a team and that fan support is very important to them.
