Vincenzo Italiano under criticism after Beşiktaş's defeat to Trabzonspor

In Beşiktaş, which left the Trabzonspor away match with a defeat on the 8th matchday of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Head Coach Vincenzo Italiano's delay in making player substitutions drew criticism. The black-and-whites suffered their 3rd defeat in the league this season.

Beşiktaş suffered their 3rd defeat in the league this season by losing away to Trabzonspor on the 8th matchday of the Trendyol Süper Lig. Having previously lost away to Alanyaspor and Amed Sportif as well, the black-and-whites felt the absence of captain Orkun Kökçü in Trabzon. While Trabzonspor extended the lead to two with Salah in the 71st minute, Head Coach Vincenzo Italiano made his first player changes in the match in the 77th minute.

Hyeongyu Oh, İlhan Fakılı, and Kassoum Outtara entered the game together in the 77th minute, while Wilfred Ndidi took the field in the 86th minute. The late minutes given to Hyeongyu Oh, who played with two goals and an assist in the Hoffenheim match, and Ndidi, one of the team's most successful names, caused criticism. It was reported that Italiano and his staff will conduct detailed analyses to find a solution to the poor performances in away matches.
