Women's Health Research Network established
Bringing together experts from different disciplines, the new network aims to make women's health issues and diagnostic challenges visible in the scientific world.
Within the scope of the For Women in Science Program, carried out in cooperation with the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO and L'Oréal Turkey, the Women's Health Research Network has been launched in partnership with EndoTürkiye.
Purpose of the Network's Establishment
A new platform has been established to shed light on inadequate resources in the field of women's health, difficulties in diagnostic processes, and unmet needs.
Brought to life in cooperation with EndoTürkiye, this network aims to produce interdisciplinary solutions for women's health issues.
Areas of Expertise
This newly created platform brings together obstetrics and gynecology specialists, endometriosis researchers, nutrition and physiotherapy experts.
In addition, experts from fields such as psychology, psychiatry, radiology, molecular biology, genetics, and biomedical engineering are also included in the network.
Supported Projects
The researches conducted by four successful female scientists supported in the twenty-fourth year of the program were shared with the public.
Among the announced projects are drug candidates against ALS disease and renewable energy storage systems.
