The news of the passing of the 2.19-metre-tall young woman, who lived in Neijiang city in China's Sichuan region and was known on social media by the name Xiaoyue, was announced to the public by her 1.68-metre-tall boyfriend, Zihao.
They Gained Social Media Fame Due to Their Height Difference
Reaching a large audience on the internet with their massive height difference, the couple had been together for four years and regularly shared snippets of their daily lives with their followers.
The couple's son, who was born last year, had not yet turned one, and Xiaoyue had approximately 84,000 followers while Zihao had nearly 140,000.
She Was Battling Serious Health Issues
Diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and meningioma in July 2026, Xiaoyue's condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to severe hyperglycemia, kidney failure, and other complications.
