The 23rd Imam Hatip Graduates Congress, traditionally organized by the Önder Imam Hatip Graduates Association, took place at the Atatürk Cultural Center located on the Karadeniz Technical University campus in Trabzon.

Sending a video message to the congress attended by Imam Hatip graduates, educators, youth, and NGO representatives from 81 provinces, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that these achievements are a sign of normalization.

Speaking at the congress, Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin made evaluations by recalling that during the February 28 period, the student enrollment in Imam Hatip schools dropped to the level of 2 percent.
