AK Party's Statement on the Terror-Free Turkey Process and Scope of the Law

Basic Conditions of the Process
It was pointed out that the law enacted within the scope of the Terror-Free Turkey process is tied to certain conditions.
It was emphasized that organizations must dissolve themselves and their disarmament must be registered.
Committee and Review Process
It was stated that a committee to be chaired by the Vice President will examine the issue.
It was noted that after the examinations, the issue will be moved to the National Security Council and announced in the Official Gazette.
Conditions for Benefiting from the Law
It was stated that there is a six-month application period following the announcement in the Official Gazette.
It was explained that if persons who aid terrorism or engage in propaganda apply, they can benefit from this right.
Those Excluded from the Scope
It was stated that those who kill soldiers and people, as well as those who give these instructions, will definitely not benefit from the law.
It was clearly conveyed that the organization leaders and commanders in Imralı and Kandil are kept outside the scope.
Emphasis on Çanakkale
Evaluations were made regarding those who make negative criticisms of the law.
It was emphasized that in order to understand this sensitive process and issues, the history and memories of Çanakkale must be witnessed on-site.
