Ankara Rejects Israel's Proposal for Sphere of Influence Sharing in Syria
It is reported that the Tel Aviv administration submitted a plan through an intermediary country involving the sharing of military spheres of influence in Syria, and Ankara rejected this proposal.
It is claimed that Israel conveyed a proposal to Turkey through an intermediary country outlining the sharing of military spheres of influence in Syria, but Ankara rejected the plan on the grounds that it would divide Syria's future into zones of influence.
Allegation of Sphere of Influence Sharing in Syria
A new claim has emerged within the context of Israel's increasing military activities and Turkey's relations with the administration in Damascus.
It was asserted that the Tel Aviv administration approached Turkey via an intermediary country with a proposal to share military spheres of influence in Syria.
Details of the Proposal's Lines and Regions
According to the alleged plan, it was stated that it was requested for the Homs, Quneitra, Tartus, Damascus, and Daraa line to remain within Israel's military sphere of influence.
In return, it was claimed that Tel Aviv guaranteed it would not interfere with potential Turkish military activities in Aleppo, Hama, Al-Hasakah, Deir ez-Zor, and Raqqa.
Ankara's Stance and Response
It was reported that Turkey was also asked not to oppose Israel's military corridor stretching from the Golan Heights to As-Suwayda and the air shield it plans to establish in the region.
It was noted that this put-forward plan was not accepted by Ankara and the proposal was rejected.
