The University of Arkansas at Little Rock hosted a gathering on September 30, welcoming the Central Arkansas artificial intelligence community to discuss production-stage artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.

Purpose of the Event and Participants

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock hosted the AI InTheRock gathering, which brings together people from various sectors, for the second time.

The event offered participants the opportunity to network, follow presentations, and engage in open discussions on the growing role of artificial intelligence.

Presentations and Highlighted Topics

As part of the program, presentations on machine learning in production and clinical artificial intelligence were delivered by Ouachita Labs and Arkana Laboratories.

In addition, technical details such as GPU infrastructure and the use of artificial intelligence models in renal pathology were shared with participants.

Academic and Sectoral Evaluations

Dr. Tansel Karabacak, Dean of the Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, stated that artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the operations of institutions.

Matt Olson, co-founder of AI InTheRock, emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer just a search tool.
