Ema, which automates enterprise processes in human resources, IT, and finance using artificial intelligence agents, has secured $77 million in a Series B funding round led by Creaegis.

Details of the Funding Round

The Series B funding round, led by Bengaluru-based venture capital firm Creaegis, saw participation from existing investors Accel, Section 32, and Prosus, who increased their stakes.

With this latest financing move, the startup's total investment amount reached $140 million, and its company valuation multiplied more than fourfold compared to the last round in 2024.

Company's Area of Operation

Founded in 2023 by former Google and Coinbase executive Surojit Chatterjee and former Okta executive Souvik Sen, Ema aims to take over tasks traditionally handled by enterprise software and IT services.

The startup offers a technology it calls 'AI employees', which brings together multiple artificial intelligence agents to coordinate multi-step business processes.
