Autonomous Biological Design with the OPAL Project

The OPAL project aims to establish infrastructure for autonomous laboratories across four national laboratories to independently conduct coordinated biological experiments. Dion Antonopoulos, Ian Foster, and Arvind Ramanathan are leading the project.

Enzyme Discovery and Biopolymer Optimization with IDeA

The IDeA project aims to significantly shorten enzyme design processes by developing AI agents that scan millions of articles, review databases, and compare molecular structures.
