2 Suspects Arrested in Antalya for Social Media Crime Syndicate Propaganda
Two of four individuals identified as spreading propaganda via social media accounts have been captured in operations by security forces.
In an operation coordinated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, two of four suspects identified as conducting crime syndicate propaganda on social media platforms were detained.
Details and Initiation of the Operation
Within the framework of the investigation coordinated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a comprehensive examination was launched by the teams of the Antalya Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate.
Social Media Posts
As a result of the work carried out by the teams, it was determined that posts praising crimes and criminal organizations, as well as posts containing threats and insults, were made from certain social media accounts.
Simultaneous Raids
Simultaneous operations were organized by the security forces at designated addresses in order to capture the suspects named M.T, Y.A, E.Ş.K. and B.Y.
Detentions and Ongoing Efforts
As a result of the operation, suspects M.T. and E.Ş.K. were detained, while efforts by security units continue to capture the other suspects Y.A. and B.Y.
