Atlantic Cape Students Offered Artificial Intelligence Internship Opportunities
With new grant support, Atlantic Cape students gain the opportunity to complete paid internships in hands-on artificial intelligence projects.
Atlantic Cape Community College has received a $4,000 grant to provide students with paid internship opportunities under a state artificial intelligence initiative.
Artificial Intelligence Sprinternships Initiative
Atlantic Cape Community College students will gain real-world experience in the field of artificial intelligence thanks to a $4,000 grant provided in cooperation with the New Jersey Community College Consortium.
Developed in partnership with Break Through Tech, the state artificial intelligence Sprinternships initiative will offer up to five students a three-week paid internship opportunity.
Purpose and Scope of the Pilot Program
This pilot program aims to broaden equitable access to hands-on artificial intelligence experiences and strengthen the connections between colleges and employers.
Within the scope of the program, students will learn to complete a common task by working in teams on employer-backed artificial intelligence projects.
Application Requirements and Important Dates
An informational session will be held for the program on Thursday, September 10 in room C3, and the application deadline has been set as September 27.
Students majoring in related fields who have completed at least one credit of computer science or a related course will be able to apply for this internship opportunity.
