Law Adopted in the TBMM
Touching upon the process of the Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration adopted in the TBMM, Bahçeli praised the will of the Parliament.
He stated that the adoption of the law with the votes of 467 deputies demonstrates a very strong social and political will.
Response to Claims of Secret Bargaining
He emphasized that throughout the process, there has categorically been no backroom bargaining or any path taken outside the knowledge of the citizens.
Inviting society to be cautious and sensitive against potential provocations, Bahçeli noted that all steps have been taken in a transparent manner.
Legal Nature of the Regulation
He stated that the enacted law does not completely eliminate existing conviction rulings, but rather constitutes a limited and conditional legal regulation.
He underlined that the framework of the regulation has been clearly drawn in the legal evaluations made.
