BMS Turkey and TÜSEB Join Forces for R&D in Health Technologies

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) Turkey and the Presidency of the Turkey Health Institutes (TÜSEB) have signed an official protocol covering joint research and development activities in the field of health sciences and technologies.

Scope of the Protocol and Signing Ceremony

A critical cooperation protocol was implemented between Bristol Myers Squibb Turkey and the Presidency of the Turkey Health Institutes on September 11.

This agreement was signed by TÜSEB President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan and BMS Turkey General Manager Ece Kaşıkcı.

Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology-Focused Areas

The areas covered by the cooperation include innovative disciplines such as cancer research, clinical studies, and biotechnology.

Additionally, artificial intelligence, medical devices, diagnostic technologies, and drug delivery systems constitute the focus of joint efforts.

Technological Infrastructure and Joint Models

The parties aim to support scientific research projects by developing new models for the shared use of existing technological infrastructures.

It is planned to evaluate technical facilities such as research centers and laboratories effectively in joint projects.

From Research to Product Development Process

Among the primary objectives of the agreement is the transformation of findings obtained from basic research into new health technologies.

Ece Kaşıkcı stated that bringing together the expertise of different institutions will strongly support health research processes.
