While SoundHound AI shares have retreated significantly from their peak in October 2025, the company is sharing strong revenue growth, strategic acquisitions, and optimistic projections for the future period.

Financial Performance and Revenue Growth

The company's second-quarter revenues increased by 45 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching $61.9 million.

The adjusted EBITDA loss showed a 33 percent improvement, declining to $9.6 million.

At the end of the second quarter, the company had a debt-free balance sheet with $203 million in cash.

LivePerson Acquisition and Targets

By incorporating LivePerson, SoundHound AI expanded its reach in the enterprise space and began serving 25 companies on the Fortune 100 list.

Management expects fiscal year 2026 revenues to be between $230 million and $260 million.

Future period targets include generating at least $350 million to $400 million in revenue in 2027.

Risks and Cash Burn

LivePerson's revenues declined by 12 percent year-over-year in the second quarter due to customer churn and contractions.

SoundHound AI used approximately $60 million in cash for operating activities in the first half of fiscal year 2026.

Investors need to closely monitor the company's organic growth and cash burn rate, despite the attractive outlook in its shares.
