Google Announces Playground, a New AI-Powered Gaming Platform
Google Labs has introduced Playground, a platform that allows users to develop browser-based two- and three-dimensional games using text prompts.
As artificial intelligence technologies make game development processes more accessible, Google Labs has launched Playground, a new experimental platform that enables the creation of browser-based games through text prompts.
Game Development with Artificial Intelligence
Brought to life by Google's experimental platform, Google Labs, Playground makes it possible to produce games without the need for traditional programming or design skills.
Game Creation and Customization Options
Users can design projects by choosing genres like trivia or racing, or by starting from scratch, and can make choices between two or three dimensions.
Additionally, users can upload their own images to have them transformed into assets matching the game's art style.
Sharing and Publishing Features
While the created projects can be played on both mobile devices and computers, they can also be kept private, shared via a link, or published in the Explore gallery.
Future Plans and Access Conditions
Google plans to add Unity Spark integration in a future update, while the platform is initially being made available to users aged 18 and older in the US.
