Jensen Huang and Lisa Su snubbed by TIME’s 2026 list of top 100 AI leaders — Paris Hilton and Ben Affleck, among others, make the list as ‘Architects of AI’ inexplicably not listed

The absence of key figures driving AI infrastructure, such as Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Lisa Su, from the 2026 TIME100 AI list announced by TIME magazine caused surprise.

Inclusion of Unexpected Figures

While executives from the industry's largest chipmakers were absent from TIME magazine's publicly shared 2026 artificial intelligence list, the presence of figures such as Ben Affleck, Senator Bernie Sanders, and Paris Hilton drew attention.

Absence of Industry Leaders

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Lisa Su were not included in this year's prestigious list. While Jensen Huang had appeared in all previous editions of the TIME100 AI, this year the company's only representative on the list was Chief Sustainability Officer Josh Parker.

Other Technology Executives on the List

Although Jensen Huang and Lisa Su were missing from the list, Broadcom CEO Hock Tan, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, SMIC Co-CEO Liang Mong Song, and Huawei HiSilicon President He Tingbo secured spots from the chip industry.

TIME magazine Editor-in-Chief Sam Jacobs stated that the 100 individuals chosen this year represent the year's most important stories and most influential figures.
