OpenAI's ChatGPT product, Anthropic's Claude, and Elon Musk's X platform chatbot Grok faced access issues worldwide. According to data reflected on the Downdetector platform, thousands of users reported errors in the systems.
Global Access Issues
According to reports made via the Downdetector platform, numerous users in different regions of the world experienced difficulties accessing popular artificial intelligence systems. These disruptions affected multiple major generative AI tools simultaneously.
Report Counts in India and America
In measurements conducted across India, over 2,800 issue reports for ChatGPT, around 170 for Claude, and over 40 for Grok were recorded.
In the United States, during the same time frame, more than 35,000 error reports for ChatGPT, over 1,400 for Claude, and more than 1,200 for Grok were detected.
Statements Made by OpenAI
The OpenAI company confirmed that increasing error rates were being experienced in ChatGPT and Codex systems, and announced that the problem in the listed services was being investigated.
The firm also shared a video on the social media platform X showing stars coming together to form a formation and stating that the stars were almost aligned.
Anthropic and Claude Model Status
The Claude team reported that the cause of increased errors in some model requests had been identified and efforts to fix it were continuing rapidly.
In subsequent updates, it was stated that the affected models were Opus 4.8 and Opus 5, and error rates for the remaining models had returned to normal levels.
Status of Grok and X Platform
Grok, the artificial intelligence bot of the X platform owned by Elon Musk, also officially acknowledged that it was experiencing technical issues.
The Grok team conveyed to users that necessary work was actively underway to restore the service to its normal state as soon as possible.
