Meta Announces Muse, a Personal AI Assistant Designed for Everyone
Muse, a secure AI assistant developed to help users manage their daily tasks and achieve their goals, has been announced.
Meta has introduced Muse, a secure personal AI assistant that helps users achieve their goals, manages tasks, and communicates through messaging apps.
Key Features of the Muse AI Assistant
Announced by Meta, Muse is designed to proactively assist users with their goals and suggest ideas.
The assistant can handle daily tasks, make travel reservations, negotiate, and run in the background even when the app is closed.
Security Infrastructure and Privacy Measures
Because personal agents require a new secure computer, Muse operates within a virtual machine called Muse Secure VM, which houses both the agent and user data.
The system features a Sentinel agent for security approvals, zero visibility for passwords or payment methods, audit trails, and opt-out options from AI training.
Integrations and Payment Systems
Muse can operate within the Muse app or directly through WhatsApp just like messaging someone else, and is powered by Meta's Muse Spark model.
Payments are securely processed via Link created by Stripe, accompanied by purchase protections, with Shop Pay and 1Password support coming soon.
Availability and Access Areas
The new personal AI assistant is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, and via muse.ai.
Meta stated that the Muse app will also be available on AI glasses in the future.
