OneRail launches AI platform with Nvidia for retailers to make faster delivery decisions

Logistics company OneRail has announced the launch of the OmniStar AI platform, powered by Nvidia software and and hardware, to offer retailers scalable and more efficient delivery options.

Features of the New AI Platform

The OmniStar platform allows retailers to use OneRail's proprietary data to evaluate all delivery options with artificial intelligence and determine the most suitable one for each order.

Advantages for Small Businesses

Through this new system, smaller companies are aimed to be able to make scaled deliveries, increase profit margins, and compete with large retail giants. OneRail CEO Bill Catania stated that selecting the best route, which previously took 20 minutes, can now be completed in two and a half minutes thanks to artificial intelligence.

Nvidia Partnership and Real-Time Decision Support

OneRail Head of AI David Daeschler stated that they started their partnership with Nvidia three years ago, while Nvidia General Manager of Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods Azita Martin described the system as a real-time decision layer that routes orders to the right carrier.

Broad Network and Implementation Results

OneRail's proprietary data network covers over 12 million drivers and more than 1,000 logistics partners. Already deployed at a major tire distributor, the platform has generated $40 million in savings over three years and is projected to exceed $6 billion in gross merchandise volume in the fourth quarter.
