President Erdoğan Makes Statements at MÜSİAD EXPO Closing

Speaking at the program held at the Istanbul Expo Center, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that MÜSİAD EXPO has transformed into an international platform for trade, investment, and business diplomacy.

In his speech, Erdoğan conveyed his gratitude to MÜSİAD members and the entire business world for their contributions, highlighting Turkey's economic and commercial potential.

Global System and Reaction to Gaza

Emphasizing that the global system has entered a crisis of justice and legitimacy, President Erdoğan reacted harshly to the massacres in Gaza and Lebanon, and evaluated the events at the United Nations General Assembly.

Pointing out the importance of the principled stance demonstrated by diplomatic delegations leaving the hall, Erdoğan expressed that this stance was a strong response against war criminals.

Emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Technology

Touching upon developments in the field of technology, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan underlined that artificial intelligence technologies must be developed by taking the human factor into consideration.

Erdoğan warned that steps taken by ignoring the human element could cause widespread damages.

Economic Growth and Export Targets

Stating that the Turkish economy has experienced uninterrupted growth for the last 24 quarters, Erdoğan noted that the country is positioned as the 16th largest economy in the world and the 6th in Europe.

Conveying that per capita income rose to 18,103 dollars in 2025, Erdoğan reported that annualized goods and services exports are projected to reach 405 billion dollars as of August.
