President Erdoğan: Turkish economy grows uninterruptedly for 24 quarters
Speaking at the MÜSİAD EXPO program, President Erdoğan stated that the Turkish economy has been growing uninterruptedly for the last 24 quarters and shared current export and income data.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized in his speech at the closing program of the MÜSİAD EXPO International Trade Fair and the 29th International Business Forum that the Turkish economy has continued to grow uninterruptedly for the past 24 quarters.

It was announced that the Turkish economy recorded a growth of 2.6 percent in the first quarter of 2026 and 2.3 percent in the second quarter.
According to this released data, Turkey ranks as the world's 16th largest economy and Europe's 6th largest economy.

The national income per capita nationwide succeeded in rising to 18,103 dollars during the year 2025.
The total economic size reached the level of 1 trillion 602 billion dollars based on current prices.

While annualized goods exports exceeded 280 billion dollars in August, the total annualized goods and services exports are projected to reach 405 billion dollars.
The number of operating exporting companies reached a total of 168 thousand in 2025.
