Teladoc Health Adds New Artificial Intelligence Features to Solo Platform
Two new artificial intelligence tools have been added to the Solo platform to ease the burden of clinical documentation in hospital environments and improve patient monitoring.
Teladoc Health announced two new artificial intelligence features developed for hospitals within its Solo enterprise smart care platform, named SoloVitals and SoloScribe.
New Features for the Solo Platform
Teladoc Health has integrated artificial intelligence into the Solo platform to ensure health systems have access to timely patient data and to reduce technological fragmentation.
Contactless Measurement with SoloVitals
SoloVitals stands out as an artificial intelligence-based tool that measures heart and respiratory rates contactlessly using smartphone or tablet cameras.
This technology helps physicians make better care decisions by providing clinically validated vital sign measurements during remote consultations.
Clinical Notes with SoloScribe
SoloScribe operates as an ambient artificial intelligence documentation tool that generates structured clinical notes within the Solo platform.
Supporting direct patient interviews and telehealth device-based visits, the system transfers prepared template summaries into electronic health records.
Executive Statements and Rollout Schedule
Teladoc Health executives stated that these new solutions integrate with technologies already present in hospital rooms and do not create operational complexity.
While the SoloScribe tool is being made available to customers, the general release of the SoloVitals feature is expected to be published in December.
