Emphasizing that Israel is a space superpower, Levy stated that Ofek and Dror satellites have been launched to provide intelligence and communication during wartime. Additionally, plans are underway to deploy a network of small satellites utilizing artificial intelligence algorithms.

Autonomous Systems and Urban Warfare

Stating that future wars will take place in urban areas, the IAI chief drew attention to the importance of autonomous robots that will alleviate the burden on soldiers and large data pools analyzed by artificial intelligence. Admitting that they were initially late in combating drone threats due to budget constraints, Levy said they now employ a multi-layered interception approach incorporating kinetic vehicles, electronic warfare, and laser technologies.
