UEFA Announces Hosts for 2028 and 2029 Tournaments

European football's governing body has finalized the cities and stadiums that will host various cup finals in the coming years.

UEFA has officially announced the stadiums and cities that will host the finals of various tournaments to be held in 2028 and 2029. While the applications made by the Turkish Football Federation for Istanbul and Ankara were not accepted, the new venues where the tournaments will be played have been determined.

Champions League Hosts

The venue for the 2028 UEFA Champions League final will be the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, while the 2029 final match will be played at the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona, Spain.

Turkey's Applications Not Accepted

The Turkish Football Federation had previously announced that it was bidding for the 2029 UEFA Europa League final with the Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium and the 2028 Women's Champions League final with Rams Park. However, as a result of the evaluations made, these applications were not accepted.

Europa League and Conference League

For the UEFA Europa League finals, the National Stadium in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, was designated as the host for 2028, and the National Stadium in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, for 2029. The Conference League finals will be held in Turin and Budapest.

Other Cup Finals and Super Cup

Stadiums in countries such as France, Wales, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Switzerland that will host the UEFA Women's Champions League, Super Cup, Futsal Champions League, and other tournaments were also individually announced by UEFA.
