Ugreen Introduces HomeAgent, a New Locally-Focused Smart Home Platform
With the HomeAgent platform unveiled at IFA, Ugreen aims to provide NAS storage, security camera management, and AI-powered voice control locally without requiring cloud subscriptions.
Ugreen is entering the smart home management market with its HomeAgent platform, introduced at the IFA technology trade show. Featuring the Uliya voice assistant and local AI, the system prioritizes privacy by processing user data on-device rather than in the cloud.
Local AI and Hardware
At the center of the system, hub devices manage user interaction via the Uliya assistant, which possesses natural language processing capabilities. On the hardware side, three different options are offered: the HA100, the HA100 Pro, and the MasterAgent MA100, which is powered by the Nvidia Jetson Thor T5000 platform.
Broad Device Compatibility
The HomeAgent platform supports the Matter smart home standard, allowing it to integrate with products from various brands such as Aqara, ThirdReality, SwitchBot, and Eve. Additionally, Ugreen is expanding its ecosystem with the SynCare series of security cameras and a dedicated smart speaker.
Launch and Pricing
The products will be available for purchase via Kickstarter in October, with starting prices set at $899 for the HA100, $2,999 for the HA100 Pro, and $9,999 for the top-tier MasterAgent MA100.
