The Women's National Volleyball Team achieved a major success by defeating Serbia in the CEV Trendyol 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship semi-final match played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall in Istanbul.

The Women's National Volleyball Team faced Serbia in the semi-finals of the CEV Trendyol 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship. Displaying a superior game throughout the match, our national team left the court victorious.
The sets of the match ended with scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-20, and our national team won the match 3-0 to write their name in the final.

Speaking after the match, Head Coach Daniele Santarelli stated that they fully reflected what they wanted on the court in technical terms. Santarelli expressed that they served effectively by establishing a good block-defense system.
