Hang Ten Systems, the AI-focused startup founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has secured an additional $53 million in financing just weeks after its initial seed round, bringing its total funding to $85 million.
Details of the Investment Round
Led by Xora, the early-stage investment platform of Temasek, the new round was completed just five weeks after the closing of the initial $32 million investment.
With this additional resource, the company's total funding quickly reached $85 million.
Supporters and Participants
Mayfield, which led the previous investment, also participated in this round, alongside Aramco Ventures, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra.
Yahoo co-founder and board member Jerry Yang was also among the investors.
The Company's Scope of Operations
Founded in May, Hang Ten Systems focuses on how artificial intelligence will fundamentally transform how large enterprises create and maintain software.
The startup generally advises companies with over $10 billion in annual revenue on artificial intelligence strategies and assists with software modernization.
Purpose of the Funds
This fresh capital will be used to expand the company's engineering, consulting, and sales teams.
