TEKNOFEST 2026 Competitions Excitement Begins in Diyarbakır
Hosted by Dicle University and the Mesopotamia Fair Center, the organization features thousands of young people from different countries showcasing their projects.
Realized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions opened their doors in Diyarbakır at Dicle University and the Mesopotamia Fair Center.
Competition Schedule and Venues
Within the scope of the festival implemented under the main leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, a total of 11 different competitions are being held between September 16-20. During this process, young people present their prepared technological projects to the appreciation of the jury and participants.
Participation of International Youth
In addition to Turkey, 677 finalist teams consisting of 2,925 young people from the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Greece, the TRNC, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia are participating in the organization.
Dicle University Events
In the first stage, which started at the Dicle University 15 July Congress and Culture Center and will end on September 18, finalist teams are competing in the fields of technologies for the benefit of humanity and artificial intelligence in health.
Finalists' Projects
Semih Poyraz, a teacher participating from Gaziantep, stated that they reached the finals among 191,000 teams with his six students and are working on a language robot, while Zeynep Cemre Söylemez from Kayseri introduced their project aimed at purifying materials heavier than water.
Mesopotamia Fair Center Stages
At the major technology gathering in Diyarbakır, finalist teams are continuing their preparations for the competitions in eight separate categories to be held at the Mesopotamia Fair Center between September 18-20.
