One of Turkey's prominent cultural gatherings, the 16th Antalya Book Fair is opening its doors at the Glass Pyramid Fair and Congress Center between October 2 and 11 with the theme "Read today, write the future."
The Fair Opens Its Doors
Hosted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, the 16th Antalya Book Fair brings together 250 publishing houses and over 300 authors with readers.
The mega event, which will remain open for ten days, turns the city into the center of literature by hosting book signings, talks, and panels.
Guest of Honor Osman Balcıgil
This year's guest of honor at the fair is author Osman Balcıgil.
As part of the opening program, Balcıgil held a talk titled Revolutionaries and Dolls at the Atatürk Cultural Center.
Weekend Events
In the weekend program of the event, many authors are coming together with their readers through book signing and talk programs.
Names such as Kemal Varol, Sibel Biçer, and Ersin Bayramkaya are giving talks under various headings throughout the fair.

Open to visitors of all ages, the 16th Antalya Book Fair can be visited every day between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
