4th Sanat Dünyamız Days Begins with the Theme of Cracked Cocoon

Hosted by Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts, the 4th Sanat Dünyamız Days, taking place between October 8 and 11, will meet audiences with the theme "Cracked Cocoon." Throughout the four-day event, exhibitions, workshops, and performances will be held.
Details of the Cracked Cocoon Theme
Prepared by Sanat Dünyamız magazine editor Fisun Yalçınkaya and Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts Publishing Events Manager Ahsen Erdoğan, the program examines the order of routines and habits that shape daily life through art.
While the concept of the cocoon is addressed with its vulnerable structure alongside being a safe space, the power of repetition and practices of being together will be intensely explored.
First Day Exhibition and Opening
The events will kick off on Thursday, October 8, with Burak Ata's solo exhibition titled When I Objectify My Most Ordinary Feelings.
Right after the opening of the exhibition, a talk will be held with the participation of the artist.
Friday Art Education
On Friday, October 9, workshops and meetings focusing on art education will await art enthusiasts.
Vardal Caniş will work on fanzine production, while Burak Delier and Şive Neşe Baydar will discuss the concepts of art and repetition.
Saturday Workshops and Talks
In the program on Saturday, October 10, participatory workshops by Şafak Şule Kemancı and İris Ergül will stand out.
While İris Ergül will hold a workshop through the practice of paper folding, Yağmur Yıldırım will talk about practices of coming together in urban spaces.
Closing Day and Performances
On Sunday, October 11, the final day of the program, performances and artist talks will be presented to the audience.
İris Ergül's Lifeblood and Merve Morkoç's Measurable Humiliation performances will be exhibited for the first time.
