4th Sanat Dünyamız Days Kicks Off with the Theme 'Cracked Cocoon'
The event organized by Sanat Dünyamız magazine brings together art enthusiasts with exhibitions and workshops.
Prepared by Sanat Dünyamız magazine, which has been published since 1974, the 4th Sanat Dünyamız Days is hosting exhibitions, performances, and workshops this year under the theme 'Cracked Cocoon'.
Cracked Cocoon Theme
Prepared by Sanat Dünyamız magazine editor Fisun Yalçınkaya and Yapı Kredi Culture, Arts and Publishing Events Manager Ahsen Erdoğan, the events examine the fragile structure of every order.
The gatherings held under the title Cracked Cocoon focus on the states where cocoons are useful or useless, bringing together various exhibitions and workshops.
October 8 Opening Program
The program will open its doors to art enthusiasts on October 8 with Burak Ata's solo exhibition titled When I Objectify My Most Ordinary Feelings and an artist talk.
October 9 Events
On October 9, the workshop titled 'Fanzine: This Is Not a Sanat Dünyamız', where participants will prepare their own magazines led by Vardal Caniş, will be held.
On the same day, Burak Delier and Şive Neşe Baydar will hold a conversation addressing the concepts of repetition and routine in art and education.
October 10 Workshops
On October 10, Şafak Şule Kemancı's 'My Own Cocoon' workshop and İris Ergül's workshop titled 'Turn Around and Around', based on paper folding, will take place.
Additionally, Yağmur Yıldırım will meet with participants to deliver a comprehensive talk on practices of coming together in urban spaces.
Closing Program
The event program will conclude on October 11 with the premiere of İris Ergül's performance 'Lifeblood' and Merve Morkoç's 'Measurable Humiliation'.
On the final day, Mine Söyler will also deliver a talk to participants on performance and repetitions, bringing the events to a close.
