6th Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival Begins

The 6th Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival is preparing to meet music lovers at the Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera House between September 6-24, 2026.
This Year's Theme of the Festival
Setting out with the motto "Music of Friendship," the festival combines the unique intimacy of chamber music with an international meeting atmosphere in its sixth year.
Management and Statements
The founder and General Artistic Director of the festival, Nil Kocamangil, and the Head of IMM Department of Culture, Arts and Social Affairs, Tolga Volkan Aslan, explained the festival program.

Taking place at the Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera House between September 6-24, 2026, the event strengthens its place among long-established culture and art events.
Artists and Concerts
World-renowned artists from different generations, Turkey's leading musicians, and young talents will meet on the same stage.
Young Stars Project
In the festival's Young Stars project, Deniz Yakın, Beliz Güney, and Çağatay Yurt will share the same stage with Miguel Da Silva and Caspar Frantz.
Closing and Side Events
While the festival will end with the closing concert of the two-time Echo Klassik award-winning Alliage Quintett, the concert program is complemented by free masterclasses and talks.
