8th Batman Book Fair and Culture and Arts Festival Begins
New libraries have been brought to the city within the scope of projects implemented to spread the reading culture in the city.
Organized in cooperation with the Batman Governorate, Batman Municipality, Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, and the Provincial Special Administration, the 8th Book Fair and Culture and Arts Festival has opened its doors to book lovers.
The Opening of the Festival Was Held
The opening program of the 8th Book Fair and Culture and Arts Festival, which showcases the cultural riches in Batman, was held with high participation.
Following the opening, protocol members and guests visited the stands of the publishing houses in the area one by one and examined them.
Library Investments Emphasized
Important statements were made by drawing attention to the projects carried out to increase the reading culture and love of books in the city.
It was stated that 8 new libraries have recently been brought to Batman and that the Şenay Aybüke Yalçın Library is Turkey's most visited library.
