The photographs featured in the exhibition held at LEE Art Project in Piyalepaşa draw attention with the sense of emptiness they create and become the voice of the silent majority.

Photography Approach and the Story Behind the Name

Stating that his relationship with photography has been ongoing for twenty-five to thirty years, Taylan expresses that he takes photos as one of his efforts in the search for meaning that remains after earning his living.

Attributing the exhibition's name "Noksan" to the sense of incompleteness conveyed by the shared emotion of the photographs, the artist says that life is flawed.

New Literary Works

In the interview, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan also shares that he has been continuing his literary work for some time in a file he calls 'Yengeç Sepeti'.

The artist also states that within the scope of this file, he is working on two novellas and a novel draft.
